Hi it seems that at least one or two users are having problems logging in to RoadNoize. I am having difficulty trying to get to the bottom of it as I cannot duplicate the problem from my end.

I have asked two people to sign up as New users they didn't have a problem signing up logging in logging out and logging in again.

I really need to be able to spend time with someone who is having problems to help me get to the bottom of the problem, it could be a problem from the site software but I just cannot duplicate it.

If anybody has ADSL eg. they can be online while talking on the phone and can spare well who knows how long but at least maybe 10, 20, 30 mins helping me diagnose the problem it would be much appreciated.

Basically I need to be able to try settings configured differently which would mean a bit of logging in and logging out as I mess with some configuration in the backend of the site.

Now I know the possible problems that can happen with winbloze (windows OS) but I have less knowledge on MACs, I am a Linux man all the way these days, Viva le Open Source!

I will address a couple of possible problems if you are running windows.

Virus software configured wrong
Firewall configured wrong

The above are the two main reasons but with windows it really could be anything as you have to run so much software to stop the nasties getting into your PC, Linux and MACs don't have this problem. Don't worry I am just a geek, windows is alright if you don't want to learn anything about computers ;o)

I will write more as it comes to me, but please if you can help with some debugging it would be much appreciated. I can make ten cent phone calls anywhere in Oz so there will be no cost to you except for 30 mins at max.
