Category: Events
Subtitle: Great day ,Crap weather
Keywords: Satan's, Soldiers, 40th, Anniversary, Bike, car, show,
Summary: Great Bikes , Great Cars , Great Day , great company , Crap weather
Satan's Soldiers 40 the Anniversary Bike and car show

The 29 the of march dawned cold and wet, and the fact that i was dying of the flu almost made me miss the event ,
but i had already told Peter i was coming so i was not going to let illness get the better of me, as it turned out i was sure glad i took the trip to melton.

Photo

Although the poor weather kept some of the cars away there was still plenty to see , like the Beautiful Chevy Impala with the almost unnoticeable chop and big wire wheels, Trash had his recently Finished 56 Chevy hardtop on show, This car is a stunner respect to both Trash and his mate paul who did most of the build, Joe from NVS rides had his HG Monaro hardtop out for the day, it could have been yours for a cool hundred grand, wow prices of classic aussie cars are becoming scary.

there were bikes aplenty to feast your eyes on from rats to bobbers to customs Daily rides. There were traders set up selling tee shirts Prints and other goodies, food was prepared by the local lions club, and the Satan's soldiers had the club house open for drinks and the open fire was getting plenty of attention, there were three bands to play during the day, with the twisted willies entertaining the crowd on the early shift, and didnt they rock.

Unfortunately the flu caught up with me (The bourbon too) so i left in the late arvo, the party was still in full swing with more bike and people rolling in to take part in the soldiers 40th celebration and to enjoy the rest of the entertainment that was scheduled to go into the wee small hours.

I will be there next year because i had a great day and would encourage anyone else to get along and enjoy the clubs hospitality, and when you come bring your car.

(See Gallery for Photos),

Cheers Peter.
