American & British Car & Bike & Rockabilly bash

Yesterday my son James and i Took a quick trip down to North Coburg to check out the first A&B rockabilly Car & Bike Bash , we had planned to take a run out to Johns picnic at pakenham on the sunday but hey Coburg is closer and with the weather looking dodgy we decided to take the closer option and check out the Rockabilly Car and Bike bash instead. We were not disappointed with our choice as we were greeted by some top show bikes from Builders such as Python Choppers , Pega custom cycles , prozac Choppers and some great Owner built bikes , There was a great display of cars as well with one radically chopped arse dragin rat Rod , the show was held at Acheson place North Coburg and was very well organised With traffic wardens , Kids activities , Good food Louis king and his band provided the sound track with the Black uhlans opening their club house to provide the bar facilities . Congratulations must go to the sponsors who provided some fabulous prizes for the Raffles , the drawing of which became a marathon starting before the trophy presentations and continuing afterwards it seemed that a lot of ticket holders had either gone or could’nt be arsed coming up to collect their prizes , which was good because yours truly managed to score a roof mount dvd system . as i said congratulations to the American & British bike club , the Black Uhlans , the sponsors and all those who put their bikes and cars on show for the large and appreciative crowd . Well done guys i look forward to next years show and if you did not get there this weekend Make sure you get there next Year . In the mean time check out the photos in the gallery. Cheers Peter.
