Marquez moves in front as Q2 runners decided
Marc Marquez posted the quickest lap time of the Le Mans weekend so far as third practice was staged on Saturday morning. The championship leader moved in front of Jorge Lorenzo and Friday pace-setter Dani Pedrosa as the first ten Q2 participants were revealed. Several riders crashed at Turn 3.

Appeal lodged by Aprilia Racing Team & Sylvain Guintoli

Following the decision taken by the FIM Stewards at the World Superbike race 2 in Monza (Italy) on 12 May to cancel the drop of position sanction imposed by the Race Direction on rider Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team), the Aprilia Racing Team and rider Sylvain Guintoli lodged an appeal with the FIM International Disciplinary Court within the time limit (5 days).
The International Disciplinary Court will deal with this case in due time.
